they r amazing, as if that weren't obvious already. they took the (already very cool nyc scene) to another level, and keep doing so, (and way beyond nyc too), in many ways too, their music, perfs, space in bklyn, and even their gear. effin a, they rock.

BIOGRAPHY
A Place To Bury Strangers are Oliver Ackermann (guitar, vocals), Jono MOFO (bass) and Jay Space (drums). These three guys from New York City play a heavy mix of psychedelic rock, shoegaze and space rock. The Washington Post called the band: ''the most ear-shatteringly loud garage/shoegaze band you'll ever hear”.
The guys founded A Place To Bury Strangers in 2003 and released their self-titled debut album in 2007. Meanwhile they shared the stage with their heroes Jesus And The Mary Chain and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
