BIOGRAPHY

As daughter of João Gilberto and Miucha, the Brazilian Bebel Gilberto was born a musician. The latin singer/songwriter started performing at the age of seven and has been doing so ever since.
Bebel Gilberto released her debut EP 'Bebel Gilberto' in 1986 and has collaborated with artists like Thievery Corporation, David Byrne and Arto Lindsay. In 2000, she released the critically acclaimed 'Tanto Tempo' which sold over 1 million copies worldwide. After 2004's 'Bebel Gilberto', two successful remix albums were issued. 'Momento' (2007) is the name of her third album.
