JUST CONFIRMED: Live video webcast The Evangelicals concert
| From Bible Belt town of Norman, Oklahoma comes the slightly psychedelical and exciting indie-rock band called The Evangelicals. But don’t be mistaken, The Evangelicals are no church-rock group. The band of core-member Josh Jones follows where other Oklahoma bands like The Flaming Lips and The Starlight Mints have gone before.
Josh Jones started the Evangelicals in 2005. After completing the 2006 debut album ‘So Gone’, he teamed up with bass player Kyle Davis, drummer Austin Stevens and later on guitarist Todd Jackson. The Evangelicals’ second album ‘The Evening Descends’ was released in early 2008. On May 28th the Evangalicals’ Amsterdam concert will, as so many before them, be broadcast live on Fabchannel.
