About Mike Patton and Mono Cane Born in 1968 in California, Mike Patton is primarily known as singer of Faith No More. Patton also was lead singer of experimental metal bands like Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Lovage, Fantômas, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Peeping Tom. Next to singing he’s active as producer and runs his own record label, Ipecac Records. Mike Patton’s latest project is called Mondo Cane. In Mondo Cane he performs a repertory of post-war Italian songs, some of which are in totally new arrangements but which are often surprisingly true to the style nevertheless With a slik haircut and white custume, Patton puts on the role of a charismatic singing showmaster. On the other side there are the vocal fireworks for which Patton is renowned and that display the versatility of his voice. This makes Mondo Cane a schizophrenic, surprising and thrilling project. All music is composed by Mike Patton together with Daniele Luppi, a young and talented Italian film music composer. On this special evening, organized by Holland Festival, the music is played by the Metropole Orchestra. |

waysol you are truly a complete brainless f&*%wit!! This concert is another amazing example of what an absolute genius that Mike Patton is, if you cant appreciate that there is something wrong. It gave me goosebumps, Patton is god!!!
