MGMT TAKE OVER CSS’ #1 SPOT
| Indie-electronic sensation of the year MGMT takes over the #1 position in the Fabchannel electronic chart.New Yorkers Ben Goldwasser and Andrew Van Wyngarden together form the electronic indie rock duo MGMT. The guys met each other at the University of Middletown, CT, where they were both studying arts. In 2002 they formed The Management, now better known as MGMT.
Ben and Andrew combine experimental indie rock with dance and electronica. They prefer to call their style ‘future seventies’. MGMT’s debut album is called ‘Oracular Spectacular’ and was released in January 2008.
