NATE JAMES TOPS THIS WEEK RNB CHART
| It’s been almost two years since Nate James’s Paradiso concert. Still people can’t get enough of the video of this concert. And so he tops this week’s RnB chart.Nate James is a British soul singer and songwriter. Some say that he is the funkiest British soul singer since J.K. from Jamiroquai. He is an example of a new breed of artists who are keeping control of their own careers instead of giving it away by signing to a major label.
He released his debut album ‘Set The Tone’ on his own label named Frofunk. The feel-good songs on ‘Set The Tone’ stand out because of a mix of pop, funk and rock influences. The album earned Nate two MOBO nominations in 2005, for Best Newcomer and Best R&B Artist. In 2007 followed the album Kingdom Falls. |
