JUST CONFIRMED: Live webcast of The Fratellis concert

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008
Jon Fratelli, Barry Fratelli and Mince Fratelli have formed their band in 2005. There are many different speculations about the origin of the name Fratellis. Some say that they got the name from the family of bad guys in the 1985 movie The Goonies. But recent interviews with the guys point out that Fratelli (Italian for Brothers) is the original surname of Barry. The other members simply adopted that pseudonym.

The three ‘brothers’ have been described as the missing link between T.Rex and The Libertines. The Fratellis are known for their insane and energetic live shows.

In 2007 The Fratellis released their debut ‘Costello Music’, which included the number one hit single ‘Chelsea Dagger’. ‘Costello Music’ was followed up by ‘Here We Stand’, a year later.

Tomorrow the guys will come over to Amsterdam to perform at Paradiso. The live webcast starts at 20:30 CET (check www.fabchannel.com for your local time). If you want to check it later on, that’s possible. We will add the concert to our archive!
