About Martha Wainwright: Martha Wainwright (1976) is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter. As the ‘daughter of’ Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle and as the ’sister of’ Rufus Wainwright, she was destined to become one hell of a musician. Just like her family, Martha focuses on folk pop music, but with a fresh and original twist to it. Several times Martha featured in songs of her family. In 2006 she participated in Snow Patrol’s ‘Set The Fire To The Third Bar’ from their album ‘Eyes Open’. Martha Wainwright released her self-titled debut album in 2005, followed by 2008’s ‘I Know You’re Married But I’ve Got Feelings Too’. www.marthawainwright.com |
