Charles Frail (real name Karel Ensing) is a 22 year old singer-songwriter from Amsterdam. He started writing songs at the age of 16. Initially he wanted an electric guitar, but his mother told him to write ten songs on his acoustic guitar first. In the end he stayed true to the acoustic guitar.
Charles Frail writes dreamy acoustic folk music. His remarkable voice and a lot of tempo changes characterize his songs. He played as support act for several big artists like Architecture In Helsinki and Joan as Policewoman.
In 2007 Charles released his first EP, 'My Mother The Great' which is unsurprisingly dedicated to his mother.
