Though I am a fan and I have all their albums, I have never experienced them live. I am surprised by their vulgar language even though I know we all curse I was surprised by the beginning of what I am hearing. I want to try to enjoy them because they are talented but is this how De La Soul acted in their American concerts =(? I have been a fan since their first album too so this is coming from the heart. I was even known as the De La Soul fanatic the Summer of 1992 at college program but I am really shocked by this vulgarity and use of the B word. I know this is all about entertainment but I am just saying I think they took it a little too far =( When you start off a concert like this the vibe totally goes down and you LOSE fans who may go to the concert. I am not intrigued to see them and I am publicly declaring this!

BIOGRAPHY
New York based trio De La Soul instantly claimed their place in hiphop with their debut album '3 Feet High And Rising'. They were the first hiphop artists to noticeable be influenced by pop, jazz reggae and psychedelica, next to funk and soul.
With ever having the intention, De La Soul's humour and eclectisme presented them as the alternative for the then dominant hardcore rap. In the early 90's De La Soul was seen as the leader of this alternative style of rap. Other rappers who were labelled to this style were A Tribe Called Quest, Queen Latifah and The Jungle Brothers.
With the following records De La Soul took distance from the hippie image they had created. Until 2006 they had released 9 studio records.
