Death From Above 1979 members Jesse F. Keeler and Sebastienn Grainger have succeeded in producing maximum sound with minimum use of instruments. By using only bass and drums they create an all overwhelming, though danceable, wall of Rockn Roll.
When the two Toronto based rockers started Death From Above 1979 in 2001 the plan was to sound just like an elephant in your living room. In 2004 the band debuted with the album Youre a Woman, Im a Machine and brought that elephant to live.
