Brilliant band! But why is the video so tiny? It didn't use to be that way...

BIOGRAPHY

The two pair of brothers Greg and Aaron Gilbert and Colin and Rowly Fox started their musical career in the acoustic pop band Corky, which style was strongly influenced by that of Manic Street Preachers and The LA's. Later on they operated under the name Idoru and signed a deal with Blanco y Negro to release their debut EP 'Safety in Numbers' in 2001. In the same year they became the Delays.

At a private show of Delays in 2003 Rough Trade's Geoff Travis was impressed and signed the band to the independent record label. In the same year the first Delays single 'Hey Girl' was released and reached the British top 40. They earned themselves shows with the Thrills, Tim Burgess and The Sleepy Jackson. A year later the Delays debut album was a fact with the release of the critically acclaimed 'Faded Seaside Glamour'.

Delays' second album 'You See Colours', which appeared in 2006, was the last Delays release on Rough Trade. After the break this label they signed a deal with Polydor and released their third album 'Everything's the Rush' in 2008.
