I was at this concert, i am the exceptionally hot one at the front, also saw them in Nottingham, this is by far the best show i have seen them do. P.s Shonna is hot. Yes i would.

Hey Pudd! Good to see you - we remember you! Wes says "Hey", too ! We missed some of the beginning of the show - not sure how much - the publicist & management sent us a 'heads up" but the show had already started anyway - good think I happened to be online right then. MAN!! the audio and video quality of this were beyond professional - that's ready-to-go-out-of-the-box big screen movie material, as is! NICE FUCKING JOB!!! to whoever did it !! It seems like there were a dozen cameras - and all the folks running them must have been reading each others' minds. God. Dang! That was some good quality shit !!

BIOGRAPHY

Drive-By Truckers is a five-piece southern rock band from Athens, Georgia. Their alternative country is characterized by the use of three guitars together with bass and drums. Their songs revolve around stories about drifters and outlaws and how they cope in poor situations.

High-School friends Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley founded Drive-By Truckers in 1996. Earlier, they had already been playing together in several bands, among which Adam's House Cat.

After two studio releases, 'Gangstabilly' (1998), 'Pizza Deliverance' (1999) and the live record 'Alabama Ass Whuppin'' (1999), Drive-By Truckers started to work on their masterpiece 'Southern Rock Opera'. This 2001 double CD is based on the history of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

This record was a huge underground success, and the band eventually signed with New West Records. In early 2008 Drive-By Truckers released their 8th record called 'Brigher Than Creation's Dark'.
