BIOGRAPHY
Editors consists of singer/guitarist Tom Smith, lead guitarist Chris Urbanowicz, bassist Russel leetch and drummer Ed Lay. They all studied music technology at Stafford University, where they formed Editors in 2002. After graduating they re-located to Birmingham.
The singles 'Bullets' and 'Munich' which were released early 2005 created great expectations for their debut album. Editors' dark, gloomy and dramatic sounding post-punk was compared to that of Bloc Party., Joy Division and Echo & The Bunnymen. In July of 2005 their debut 'The Back Room' made all expectations come true.
