Perhaps the audience didn't fully appreciate what Elbow are about, they didn't particularly notice the classics! However, Scattered Black and Whites always brings me to tears - shear genius! I saw them in B'ham some 7/8 years ago, they finished with Black and Whites then, and I've been a fan ever since. Deeply thoughtful music. Nee

saw them in manchester in october '08 and they were fantastic, then i was lucky enough to meet Guy a couple of weeks later, fantastic band, so happy to have found this site.:0)))

Hoewel je als liefhebber hoopt dat ze heel groot worden en eindelijk de erkenning krijgen die ze verdienen, hoop ik tegelijkertijd dat ze alleen kleine en mooie concerten blijvengeven. Wat een band, wat een muziek en wat een teksten. Coldpay, eat your heart out!!

BIOGRAFÍA
Procedentes de Manchester, el pop-rock de Elbow recuerda mucho a Coldplay y Radiohead. Además, con sus letras evocadoras y su sonido siempre innovador se ha ganado la admiración de artistas como R.E.M., U2, John Cale o Blur entre otros. El quinteto, formado por Guy Garvey, Mark Potter, Richard Jupp, Pete Turner y Craig Potter, se conoció en el colegio y empezaron a hacer música bajo el nombre de MR. Soft, para más tarde llamarse Elbow. Sus primeros 3 EP's sonaron hasta la saciedad en BBC Radio 1 y poco después debutaron en el mercado discográfico de la mano de V2 con su álbum 'Asleep In The Back'. Más tarde editaron su segundo y tercer álbum 'Cast of Thousands' (2003) y 'Leaders Of The Free World' (2005) y en 2008 nos presentan su último trabajo 'The Seldom Seen Kid'.
