The Guillemots are a four piece band with members from England, Canada and Brazil. The members, Fyfe Dangerfield (Singer, Guitar and Keyboard), Mc Lord Magrao (Base), Artistazabel Hawkes (singer, Double Base) and Greig Stewart (Drums) have all co-produced their latest album 'Red' which was released in March this year.
Their previous album 'Through the Window Pane' 2006, produced by Fyfe Dangerfield, was released to much critical acclaim gaining them a Mercury Award Nomination. They have been touring with influences R.E.M. across the world and are regular festival favourites at V-Festival and Lattitude.
The lastest album 'Red' sees classically trained Fyfe Dangerfield mixed with past heavy metal drummer Greig Stewart which gives an interesting slant on the indie music genre. The band has experienced chart success since they formed, with their single "Get Over It" reaching number 20 in the UK Singles Chart and number 9 in the UK Albums Chart in the same month.
