The internationally renowned pop venue Paradiso was founded in 1968 and is located in a former church building, dating back to 1879. All the greats of pop and rock music have played and still play at Paradiso. Paradiso was the initiator of Fabchannel. At the end of the 90’s, Paradiso noticed how the acts they programmed weren’t getting the media attention they deserved and decided to take matters into their own hands by creating an online channel.

The 5th of July 1946 the American Army dropped the first atomic bomb on a small atoll in the Marshall Islands called Bikini. Around the same time in Paris, Louis Reard and Jaques Heim created a piece of swimming gear so indecent that model Micheline Bernadini could do no more than scream it would be more explosive than the bombs of Bikini. In 1953 another Bikini became famous: a venue for party’s, dancing and other recreational activities. Today the venue is established at the heart of Barcelona presenting the city’s hottest DJ’s and live music acts.
