Kaizers Orchestra is a hard-hitting alternative rockband with heavy East-European influences in their rock sound. These Norwegians are notorious for their live shows. Expect gasmasks, oil barrels, crowbars and a gipsy final.
All vocals are in Norwegian dialect and tell dark stories about mafia, Russian roulette, revolution, resistance, victims of war and sailors.
Kaizers Orchestra was founded in 2000. Their first album 'Ompa Til Du Dor' (2001) was awarded with the prestigious Spelleman price (the Norwegian Grammy). The band's fifth album is called 'Maskineri', which was released in 2008.
