BIOGRAPHY
The name Millencolin comes from the skateboardtrick 'Melancholy'. After hearing a lot of punkrock bands in several skatevideo's and inspired by the California hardcore sound, Fredrik Larzon, Erik Ohlsson, Mathias Färm en Nikola Sarcevic dececided to start their own skatepunk band in 1992.
At first (the band admits) they didn't play very well, but with their strong will and vision this Swedish foursome brought it's style to perfection. On 'Home From Home' (2002) they developed their own sound and with their last album, the uplifting 'Kingwood' (2005), the band brings us their best work yet. An exited Paradiso totally agreed.
