INTRO
It was in 2001 that the indie rockers of Minus The Bear emerged on Seattle's music scene. Minus The Bear features ex-members of hardcore bands Botch, Kill Sadie and Sharks Keep Moving. Although Minus The Bear's music is experimental, it has an open and pop-style character. Minus The Bear are often compared to Sunny Day Real Estate and Death Cab For Cutie.
Even before the four had ever played a show together, they met in the studio to record their 2001 EP 'This is What I Know About Being Gigantic'. Two EP's and two full-length albums followed, of which 'Menos El Oso' (2005) is their latest.
