ONE CALLINGReggae legend Denroy Morgan passed the torch to five of his children who formed the reggae band Morgan Heritage. Una, Roy, Peter, Nakhamyah, Memo and three other of Denroy's in total 29 kids grew up in the recording studio of their dad in the U.S. where they received their musical roots.
In the early '90s, Morgan Heritage started recording in this studio in Springfield, with help from their father. The kids did go to school during weekdays, but in the weekends they spent most of their time in the studio.
Morgan Heritage released their first single 'Wonderful World' in 1991 which was soon followed by debut album 'Growing Up'. After an impressing performance at a Reggae festival, the band was noticed by MCA records and was signed almost directly after the show.
In 1994 they released 'Miracle' which, according to fans, which sounded too commercial. A year later, Morgan Heritage rediscovered their roots and recorded 'Protect Us Jah'. After this they released many albums of which 'Full Circle' (2005) included the big Jamaican hit 'Tell Me How Come'.
