High school friends Matthew Caws and Daniel Lorca played in several bands until they teamed up with Ira Elliot and founded Nada Surf in 1993. Through the years they've transformed their punchy post-grunge into wonderful pop/rock.
Nada Surf scored a great hit with the single ‘Popular' from the debut album ‘High/Low' in 1996. Despite ‘The Proximity Effect' (1998) it stayed quiet around the band until 2003's beautiful ‘Let Go'. September 2005 the just as dazzling ‘The Weight Is A Gift' was released.
