BIOGRAPHY

The origins of Newcleus lay in a 1976 Brooklyn DJ collective known as Jam-On Productions. In the early 80's Jam-On Productions member Ben Cenac (Cozmo D) decided to form a recording group. Together with Lady E, Nique D and Chilly B he formed Positive Messenger, which they would later name Newcleus.
Newcleus is a legend in the hiphop and electro scene. Their greatest hit 'Jam On Revenge (the Wikki Wikki Song)' has appeared on numerous compilations and mixtapes. Now, after 20 years, the hiphop/electro-funk collective is back with a new album called 'Returned To Earth'.
Their concert at Melkweg was their only European show.
