Nikki Corvette is a source of inspiration to many girl punk rock groups. I wanna be Nikki Corvette, thus The Donnas. Corvette is known for her power mix of 60's girl group vocals, twangy guitars and teen pop with plenty of punk rock attitude.
This stage animal's career exploded with a series of successful singles she released as Nikki Corvette and The Convertibles in 1978. Some years later, renamed to Nikki and The Corvettes, she released the legendary self-titled album. 'Back to Detroit' is the name of her latest record that came out in 2006.
