Oi Va Voi, which is Yiddish for Oh, dear God, was founded in 2000. Their critically acclaimed debut album 'Laughter Through Tears', on which K.T. Tunstall can be heard on vocals, was released in 2003. Having fought their way through trials and tribulations, the follow-up was finally there in April 2007.
This London based band stands out because of the unique and uplifting way in which they bring together traditional Eastern European and Mediterranean folk music and contemporary dance, hiphop, rock and many other influences.
