BIOGRAPHY

Oxbow was founded in 1988 in San Fransisco, California and consists of singer Eugene Robinson, guitarist Niko Wenner, bass player Dan Adams and drummer Greg Davis. The provocative band is known of their unique sound with a mix of noise rock, avant-garde jazz and blues and brings paranoid sound scapes.

In 1990 Oxbow debuted with the album 'Fuckfest', followed by 'King of the Jews' in 1992. Guitarist, music journalist and audio engineer Steve Albini (a.o. Nirvana, Pixies and The Stooges) produced the 1995 album 'Let Me Be a Woman'. After this release Oxbow got signed to the SST label and released 'Serenade in Red' in 1997. 'An Evil Heat' (2002) and 'The Narcotic Story' (2007) followed.
