British DJ Paul Oakenfold (1963) is one the most famous DJs in the world and is seen as one of the pioneers of trance music. Paul Oakenfold has been active in the dance scene since 1987, has been resident DJ at the UK club Cream and was voted best DJ in the world in 1998 and 1999 by DJ Magazine.
With his remix of the Massive Attack song 'Unfinished Sympathy' he scored his first international hit. Later on he would also produce music for movies (The Matrix Reloaded, Die Another Day) and video games (James Bond, Fifa 2005).
