BIOGRAPHY
Californian punk band Pennywise was founded in 1988. Their name derives from a character from Stephen King's 'It'. Pennywise was signed by Epitaph in 1990 and became one of the leading bands in the punk revival of the 90's.
In 1996 the band was shaken by the suicide of bass-player Jason Thirsk. Yet they decided to continue performing. Through the years they released nine albums, of which 2005's 'The Fuse' is their latest. From the first day on Pennywise equals loud, hard and fast skatepunk.
