BIOGRAPHY

After High School Ray Lamontagne left his family en ended up in a shoe factory. One morning he heard Stephen Still's Tree Top Flyer' and decided he would sing. In the summer of 1999 he recorded his first demo en performed at a small theatre. He met some people and came in contact with Chrysalis Music Publishing. Everything fell on it's place and in 2004 RCA Records released his debut Trouble'.
Trouble' didn't stay unnoticed in Holland. The upstairs venue at Paradiso was totally sold out. It is hard to believe that the same person that stood on stage the 26th of April 2005 had problems with speaking to people just e few years earlier. In a subtle show he played us his warm Countrysoul.
