Stuck Mojo, founded in 1993, is an experimental rap metal band from Atlanta, United States. In the beginning they found themselves in the same scene as bands like Rage Against the Machine and Urban Dance Squad, but their sound became much harder and with a lot more metal. By many they are seen as one of the founders of the 'rap metal' genre.

In 1994, Stuck Mojo was signed to Century records where they released their debut album 'Snappin' Necks' in 1995. From thereon things only went up for the American metal band. Especially when touring with Machine Head and Slapshot in 1996 and the release of their their second album 'Pigwalk' in the same year.

The band's love for WWF wrestling inspired the group's music and was an inspiration for 'Rising' in 1998, the most successful Stuck Mojo album untill then. The single 'Rising', that was featured on the album, was a huge success and the video had great airplay on MTV. Though, after releasing 'Declaration of a Headhunter' in 2000, the band decided to break up.

Stuck Mojo, with a slight change in personnel, reunited in 2005. In 2008, the band signed to Napalm Records and released 'Natural Southern Killers' with much success. In the fall of 2008 they went on an European tour with Volbeat as a supporting act. On November 28th their new album 'The Great Revival' is going to be released.

SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY | Friday 10 October 2008 | Start webcast 19:30:00 CET

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes were the second band to emerge from the 'Jersey Shore Scene' in the seventies, following Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. Southside Johnny ( born December 4th 1948 as John Lyon) began his music career as the lead singer of the Blackberry Booze Band, till he met up with his old high school friends and started the Asbury Jukes. With their mix of rhythm & blues blue-eyed soul music they quickly settled their name in New Yersey and they were signed by Epic Records.

The first album of Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes named 'I Don't Want to Go Home' came out in 1976. The album was recorded with a contribution of his good friend Bruce Springsteen, who wrote a few songs for the album. Follow-up 'This Time it's For Real' contained even more Springsteen-written songs and also guest appearances of his influences the Drifters and the Coasters. The album 'Hearts of Stone' was their peak of success in the year 1978 although they failed to break through to mass success.

The band has an impressive list of 20 albums in 30 years. Southside Johnny's biggest hits are 'I Don't Want to Go Home', 'The Fever' and 'Talk to Me'. In 1991 Johnny relaunched his career by coming out 'Better Days', an album that contains a special collaboration with Jon Bon Jovi.

In 2001 Southside Johnny founded his own label called Leroy. In the new millennium he remains an active recording artist, bringing out 'Grapefruit Moon' (2008), a successful collaboration with La Bamba's Big Band. People can count on seeing a authentic rhythm & blues show filled with their greatest hits, when Johnny is touring with the Asbury Jukes.

DISCO ENSEMBLE | Sunday 12 October 2008 | Start webcast 18:00:00 CET

Disco Ensemble is a post-hardcore / punk rock band from Helsinki, Finland. Originally named 'DisCo', the band was founded in 1996 by two high school friends, Jussi Ylikoski and Mikko Hakila (the name 'DisCo' born out of the genius idea of making people think they were going to a disco but really ending up at a punk concert). When singer Miikka Koivisto joined the band and a new pop band called Disco became popular, the guys decided to change their name to the equally misleading Disco Ensemble. But there is no need to mislead anymore for 'Finland's best kept secret' to get packed venues. After years of playing in the Finnish underground scene, they were finally noticed by Fullsteam Records. As things got more serious, they moved the band to Helsinki where they found the final addition to the band, bass player Lasse Lindfors.

Their debut album 'Viper Ethics' (2003) was met with great reviews and with one big bang, 'Disco Ensemble', had claimed their spot in the punk genre. From thereon the band played many venues and festivals all across Europe.

The second album 'First Aid Kit' came out in 2005 and was the next big step to success for the Finnish group. Featuring singles 'Black Euro' and 'We Might Fall Apart' the album topped album charts across Europe. All of a sudden they were playing festivals like Roskilde, Rock am Ring and even Glastonbury. No one could deny their success anymore and after signing to Vertigo Records 'First Aid Kit' was released in more than 20 countries worldwide.

In spring 2008 they released their third album, called 'Magic Recoveries' which saw Disco Ensemble reach the number one position in the Finnish album charts and also get nominated for a MTV Video Music Award. On this third album Disco Ensemble has added synthesizers to their sound without losing touch with authentic punkrock.

I Am Kloot is a Manchester based guitar pop trio. Former promoter John Bramwell (vocals/guitar) convinced Andy Hargreaves (drums) and Pete Jobsen (guitar/bass) to leave the bands they were in and formed I Am Kloot in 1999.
To them, I Am Kloot is not a band, but a world which they have created. This world can be brutal as well as charming. On stage intimate moments are followed by those of a real rock show. In 2006 their fourth record 'BBC Radio 1 John Peel Sessions' was released.

LEVELLERS | Wednesday 19 November 2008 | Start webcast 20:30:00 CET

1988 is the official year of birth for Levellers. But it wasn't until 1990 that the band was really heard loud and clear due to their debut album 'A Weapon Called the World' and later that year with successful follow-up 'Levelling the Land'.

This folk rock band brought together 6 men from Brighton, United Kingdom. The political engaged rock music with Celtic flavoring got them to be the band who received more platinum, gold and silver albums than any band of the 90's in the UK.

The band has been enjoying an exceptional live-reputation for years, which they got by playing at numerous big festivals over the years. Inspired by the world's problems and bands like U2 and Waterboys, Levellers have always been innovative but never lost touch with folk rock music on any of their albums.

In 1995 their success stagnated somewhat because of the album 'Zeitgeist', that got mixed reviews. Some of their greatest hits are 'Liberty Song', 'What a Beautiful Day' and 'Riverflow. In 2008 the band came out with 'Letters from the Underground' that was met with mostly good reviews and the band began one of it's many European tours.
