Rockband Saybia is founded in 1993 in Nyborg, Denmark. They independently released 2 EP's, of which the second one, 'Saybia', (2001) was picked up by EMI and they signed Saybia. In 2002 Saybia's first studio album 'The Second You Sleep' was released and entered the Danish hit chart at number one.
Unfortunately the extensive touring through Europe and the US took its toll and Saybia almost split. As a final rescue attempt they decided to retreat to an isolated island in Scandinavia, try saving their friendship and record a new album. This worked out and in 2004 'These Are The Days' was released.
Saybia is often compared with bands like Coldplay and Radiohead but with a sharper edge. Their 3rd album 'Eyes On The Highway' was issued in 2007.
