BIOGRAPHY
Sneakerfreak is a refreshing guitar pop band from Utrecht (NL). They started out as a trio but now they're a five-member band consisting of Arthur van Westerop (singer and songwriter), Lourens van Haaften (guitar), Ferry van der Groep (guitar), Marco van Os (bass guitar) and Jan Stavenuiter (drums).
The band writes beautiful songs with catchy melodies. Their sound is a combination of that of R.E.M., Rufus Wainwright and Racoon, another successful Dutch band.
In 2004 Sneakerfreak released their first single 'Naked', followed by their debut album 'GO'. They also wrote 'Ronnie', a song about Ronald Ligtenberg, the inventor of Sencity, an event for deaf people.
