Sons and Daughters is the rock band of singer Adele Bethel. While touring with Arab Strap in 2001, she formed the band together with David Gow (drums) and Ailidh Lennon (bass, mandolin, piano). Soon after that guitarist Scott Paterson joined them.
This Scottish quartet create an exhilarating mix of punk, rock and country and toured alongside Franz Ferdinand and Morrissey. After 'Love The Cup' (2003) and 'The Repulsion Box' (2005), the third Sons and Daughters album 'The Gift' was also received with critical acclaim in 2008.
