BIOGRAPHY

Singer/songwriter Erik de Jong, a.k.a. Spinvis, grew up in a musical environment. His mother played Hawaii-guitar and ukulele and his father guitar. Ever since he was 15 (1976) he played in various bands and studied arrangement and composition at the academy of music.
De Jong was crazy for elektronica and drum computers. After years of experimenting he send a tape with three songs on it to the label Excelsior. Two weeks later he got signed and April 1st 2002 his successful debut album 'Spinvis' was released. After extensive touring Spinvis released his second album 'Dagen Van Gras, Dagen Van Stro' end of 2005.
