In 1999 five guys from Richmond, Virginia formed the punk rock revival / melodic hardcore band Strike Anywhere. Their star rapidly rose after their music was used for three of the Tony Hawk video games, and they featured in the 2005 Vans Warped Tour documentary 'Wake Up Screaming'.
Strike Anywhere is known for their politically involved lyrics, extensive touring schedule and raging energy on stage. Their third full-length recording 'Dead FM' was released in 2006 and is the first since they signed to the renowned punk label Fat Wreck Chords.
