BIOGRAPHY

The creative centre of The Arcade Fire exists of the couple Win Butler and Régine Chassagne. In 2004 this experimental Indie Rock band broke through with their debut album Funeral. While working on this record the Canadian seven had to deal with several losses in family circles. This clearly had a great influence on the band and gave their music a theatrical and intense sound.
March of 2005 The Arcade Fire played a fantastic show in a sold out Melkweg (see online archive). This time its Paradisos turn.
