The Datsuns were founded in Cambridge, New Zealand. They started out as Trinket in 1997. After a year they changed their name into The Datsuns. In 2001 the band decided to move to London, where things really took off for the quartet. The British music press hailed them 'the future of rock'.
Tonight The Datsuns present their third album 'Smoke & Mirrors'. On this record they combine the enthousiasm of their 2002 debut 'The Datsuns' with the streamlined heavy rock of 2004's 'Outta Sight/Outta Mind'.
