Michael Trent, Kenneth Harris, Jacob Sinclair and Adam Blake are four stubborn young blokes from Denver/Colorado who decided to form the band The Films. The sound of The Films is best described by themselves: It's as if 'The White Album' of The Beatles meets Weezer's 'Pinkerton' and they both dare to dance a little to 'Strange Days, Here We Come' from The Smiths.
In 2006 The Films obtained their first big success by signing a deal with the major record label Warner Music. A year later The Films released their debut album, 'Don't Dance Rattlesnake'. This album is full of catchy retro garage rock in line with bands like the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and The Strokes.
