BIOGRAPHY

The Gathering was founded in 1989. Through the years the Dutch band has build up a loyal fanbase all around the world, released 9 studio albums and toured around the world. In the current line-up the band consists of founders René (guitar) and Hans (drums), Marjolein (bass), Frank (keyboard) and Anneke (vocals).
The bombastic doom metal which made the band famous has evolved to atmospheric dark rock, also named triprock. This process continues on their latest album 'Home', which was released in 2006.
