Belgium indie-band The Tellers consists of two twenty year old guys, Ben Bailleux-Beynon (vocals/guitar) and Charles Blistin (guitar, piano, bass). The two met during a music contest of radio station PureFM in 2005.
Their sound is a mix of Bob Dylan, Arctic Monkeys and Gabrial Rios. The slightly trembling voice and Welsh accent of Bailleux gives an extra melancholic tint to The Tellers' music.
Their debut EP 'More' was released June 2006. One of the songs on this EP, 'Second Category', was used in a Canon commercial. August 2007 The Tellers' first album 'Hands Full of Ink', including the Belgium hit 'Hugo', came out.
