The Norwegian-Irish duo Thinguma*jigSaw is the self-proclaimed first splatter-folk band in the world. With their music, Martha Redivivus and Seth Buncombe make lyrical and musical references to horror movies and experiment with theatre and modernistic poetry.
Thinguma*jigSaw's debut album '(awakeinwhitechapel)' (2008) is largely inspired by Jack The Ripper and has a high experimental level. You can hear Martha sing in an imaginary language and hear them play on one of their favourite instruments, the singing saw.
