WHATEVER YOU WANT FROM LIFEVoicst, South African slang for energy, started in 1994 as a high school band. After a long break, singer/guitarist Tjeerd Bomhof, bass guitarist Sven Woodside and drummer Joppe Molenaar returned in 2001, impressing the public with their amazing live shows. Soon they got to play at big Dutch festivals like Noorderslag, Metropolis and Lowlands and were they supported the likes of Tenacious D, Nada Surf and The Bravery.
In 2003 Voicst released their critically acclaimed debut EP 'Eat The Evidence' and won an Essent award for best Dutch talent. A year later Voicst released their debut album 11-11, including the single 'Whatever You Want From Life', which was used by Heineken for a TV campaign and was featured in the videogame 2006 FIFA World Cup. rn
'A Tale Of Two Devils', Voicst's second album, meant the band's big break trough in the Netherlands. The album includes the hit singles 'Everyday I Work On The Road' and 'Feel Like A Rocket'.
