Indie rock band Wir Sind Helden is one of the most popular acts in Germany at this moment. Wir Sind helden was formed in 2001 by Judith Holofernes, Mark Tavassol, Pola Roy and Jean-Michel Tourette. They play an up-tempo mix of pop and elektronica with German vocals.
In 2002 the song 'Guten Tag' became their first big hit. The song was taken from the album 'Reklamation', which became one of the best sold records in Germany in 2003-2004. The follow-up album 'Von Hier An Blind' was released in 2005 and hit the German charts at number one. Since then Wir Sind Helden have been gaining popularity throughout Europe and released the album 'Soundso' in 2007.
